I am a Ph.D. Candidate jointly in Political Science and Agricultural & Applied Economics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. My research and teaching focus on comparative politics, political economy and development, and applied methodology. In particular, I study ideology and institutions in China.

Prior to coming to UW–Madison, I received my master's degree in economics from the London School of Economics (LSE) and my bachelor's degree in economics and finance from the University of Hong Kong (HKU). In 2023-24, I was a visiting scholar in political science at Columbia University.
